How the group gift calculator works
Enter the gift price and list who is chipping in. Leave an amount blank to give that person an equal share of what is left, or type a fixed amount for someone who wants to give a set sum. The calculator works out each share and writes a friendly message you can copy.
A worked example
A 120 gift with six contributors. Jo gives a fixed 30, which leaves 90 for the other five, so each pays 18.
Tips for collecting
