How Evens works.

A shared-expense app for trips, flats, couples and events. Add what you spent, see who owes whom, and settle up with a short list of payments.

Trip, home (flat), couple, event and friends. Each has its own extras, such as stay votes for trips, repeating monthly bills for homes, and each partner's share for couples.

Share the group link. Friends open it, see their share, and can join without an account.

A guest sees their own group and only the costs they are part of, can comment, claim their items on a receipt, and mark a payment as paid. To add costs themselves they install the app, and their guest name carries over.

Yes. Add them by name, and they can claim their spot later from the link.

Equally, by exact amounts, by percentage, by shares, or item by item. Tax and tip are shared in proportion, and the shares always add up to the total.

Yes. Say who paid how much, for example 60 and 40 on the same dinner.

Yes, in English for now: "I paid 40 for pizza, Dan and Lea" fills in the amount, who paid and who is in.

Yes. Type 42+18.50 and Evens adds it up.

Yes. Deleted costs can be restored for 30 days, and every change is kept in the history.

Take a photo, Evens reads the items, and everyone taps what they had. Your first scan in each group is free; more scans are part of Evens Pro.

The scan does not store the photo. If you attach a photo to a cost, it is stored privately and shown only to people in that cost.

Evens combines the debts into a short list of payments. For each one it shows how to pay: a Venmo or PayPal link with the amount, a bank QR for euro transfers, or the person's details to copy. The person paid confirms.

Never. You pay each other outside Evens.

Yes. A payment can say which costs it clears, like the hotel.

Yes. Pick the currency a cost was paid in, Evens fills in the European Central Bank's daily rate, you can edit it, and the cost is booked in your group's currency.

Everyday splitting is free. Pro adds extra scans, extra repeating bills, charts and PDF statements, per group. See the pricing page.

In your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Pro stays until the end of the paid period.

Only its members, and guests only for the costs they are part of.
