How the group event calculator works
Add each shared cost, enter the number of guests (not counting the guest of honour), and choose whether the guests cover the guest of honour. The calculator shows what each person pays under both models side by side, so you can pick one and say it in the invite.
A worked example
A weekend with a villa (900), a dinner (540) and activities (270) costs 1,710. With eight guests covering the guest of honour, each pays 213.75. If all nine people pay equally, each pays 190.00.
Collect a deposit
For anything with a booking, ask for a small deposit up front. People who have paid something show up. Set the amount in the tool and copy the summary to send.

Frequently asked questions
Who normally pays for the guest of honour?
Customs vary. For a bachelor party the guests often cover the guest of honour. Agree the model before booking.
Can costs be unequal between guests?
This tool splits shared costs equally. For costs only some people take part in, use a group app that lets you choose who is in each cost.
